Dr. Anane-Fenin is a seasoned obstetrician-gynaecologist with fellowship and subspecialty
accreditations by the West African College of Surgeons and the Colleges of Medicine, South
Africa, respectively. She is a member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and
an alumnus of the School of Medical Sciences, KNUST.
She is an expert in anomaly scans, high-risk pregnancy management, and advanced fetal
procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal blood sampling.
With her strong passion for the advancement of fetal medicine in the subregion, she led a
multidisciplinary team to perform the first-ever Ex-utero Intrapartum Treatment (EXIT)
surgical procedure in West Africa.
She is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Cape Coast School of Medical Sciences,
and she loves academic research.
