Dr Solomon Brookman

Dr. Solomon Brookman is a fellowship trained General Surgeon with ample experience in a wide range of surgical procedures, including Thyroid surgery, Breast surgery, Hernia surgery, Gastrointestinal procedures and endoscopy.
Born and raised in Ghana, Dr. Brookman had his medical training at the University of Ghana Medical School at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, where he had his housemanship training as well.
Dr. Brookman spent his first couple of years as a Medical Officer at the Catholic Hospital Battor, one of the busiest hospitals in Ghana where he developed the passion to become a surgeon. He holds a Membership of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (2008) and a Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in General Surgery.
He was appointed a consultant General Surgeon at the Catholic Hospital Battor where he combined his clinical work with managerial work as the Medical Superintendent of the hospital. His exceptional work at the hospital was recognized by the German Rotary club who supported him to setup and run a gastrointestinal endoscopy unit for the facility.
Dr. Brookman has worked in various other hospitals in Accra, including the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, The C&J Medicare Hospital and Diagnostic Centre and the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he held the position of Head of General Surgery.
His interests are in Thyroid surgery, Hernia Surgery and Gastrointestinal endoscopy.
