Areas of interest: Addictions

Dr Yennusom Maalug is a Specialist Psychiatrist and is a Member of The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS). He has an interest in addiction Psychiatry and Public Health, and is currently undertaking his fellowship programme with GCPS in Addiction Psychiatry.

Dr Yennusom Maalug has a passion in getting things done. He has been successful in various leadership roles he has occupied. His hobbies are playing table tennis, reading novels, and watching football.

He is also a Part-time lecturer at Accra college of Medicine, Accra, The Mental health department, College of Health and Well-being, Kintampo, Radford University College, East Legon, Accra and The University for Development Studies Medical School (till 2020).

He is currently the Organizing Secretary for the Psychiatric Association of Ghana (PAG). He is also currently the Organizer of the National Association of Public Health Students, University of Ghana Chapter.
