In addition to the Hospital wide COHSASA accreditation, we are proud to announce that our Laboratory has achieved ISO 15189: 2022 certification, a globally recognized standard for quality and competence in medical laboratories. This certification underscores our commitment to providing accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
ISO 15189 sets rigorous requirements for technical competence, quality management, and continuous improvement in laboratory operations. As a Laboratory, we recognize the value of an independent assessment of our standard operations and management systems. It is for this reason that the Bank Hospital Laboratory subjected its operations to the rigorous requirements of ISO 15189:2022 and has subsequently been certified with the ISO 15189:2022 standard for quality and competence in Medical Laboratory Practice within a period of eight months.
